Andreas: Yes. Our financial year is from July to June next year. It’s much better than the previous year, so we think it may have about 10% growth rate, which means we will reach the revenue more than 2.5 billion Euro for the whole TRUMPF Group. The growth in Laser Technology is much higher.
2. 《激光制造商情》:盡管目前中國(guó)激光設(shè)備系統(tǒng)市場(chǎng)競(jìng)爭(zhēng)激烈,但是通快憑著其良好的品牌一直贏得終端用戶的信任。要樹立品牌,你認(rèn)為最重要的是什么?(how to build a good laser brand)
Andreas: That’s a good question. The Chinese market is now the most important one worldwide. In the future it will continue to grow up. The actors here, the companies are doing very well job. We are very impressed by the Chinese companies, their products, their capability, regarding speed, and more and more also regarding quality.
TRUMPF is a very strong brand. We have been dealing over 40 years in the laser technology. TRUMPF is a brand of good quality, technology leadership. I think it’s very important for every company to have a vision, what is the main strategy of a company? It’s the bright leadership, top concept, and the concept of strategy to have a leading role regarding quality and technology, such as TRUMPF.
3. 《激光制造商情》:對(duì)于中國(guó)市場(chǎng),通快在2014年的發(fā)展戰(zhàn)略是什么?你期待會(huì)有什么樣的成績(jī)/增長(zhǎng)率?(the strategy of TRUMPF in 2014)
Andreas: We’re doing great in automotive industry. Especially the domestic brands are more and more important. Now the domestic brands are entering the laser stand-out in the production for the western companies more and more. For example, the cutting of hot forming part is now getting a standard in Chinese automotive companies. So automotive industry will be our focus in 2014, another focus will be consumer electronics, China is here the leading producer worldwide. Every smartphone, almost every tablet comes today out of China. That’s a very important industry. We are focusing on this.
As well as other industries, we are also interesting in. China is a very big country, and those industries can be very interesting when you count the number of laser devices. So our strategy is to enter the market which increase the sales and focusing on the key industries and customers.
4. 《激光制造商情》:之前通快公司宣布與意大利激光制造商情SISMA合作,開始進(jìn)軍3D打印市場(chǎng),為什么通快作出這一策略?你如何看待3D打印市場(chǎng)潛力?(why TRUMPF enter the 3D printing market again?)
Andreas: TRUMPF is not new in the 3D printing market. More than 10 years ago, we were the first company presenting laser selecive melting machine to the market. We were in the past too early for the market. So we stopped this product and this program. Now we re-launch this product again in cooperation with the Italian company SISMA. We have a joint venture, and we bring out our standard product in a new design to the market this year or next year.
3D printing is more and more important, especially here in China. It will be a good opportunity for us. As I say, it is not a new market for us. We was well playing here and our machines are still running very well.
5. 《激光制造商情》:通快公司的碟片激光器世界領(lǐng)先,請(qǐng)您介紹碟片激光器的優(yōu)勢(shì)以及它的應(yīng)用潛力。(the advantages and potential of disk laser)
Andreas: We see the disk laser as the best laser source technology for high power application. It’s a universal laser source for high power application for cutting, welding, cladding, brazing and others. We have much better performance than other technologies such as the fiber laser. The product itself is much more stable, so the customer will get a much more stable processing and better reliability for his own process. That’s difference to other high power technologies. We are offering now the disk laser to the cutting machines manufacturer. And this week you can see the first non-TRUMPF company with disk laser on a cutting machine, which is an innovation now to the cutting sector. So this is the concept to address companies which do not only want to follow or copying existing fiber laser concept. We address companies that have high spirit, high technology, and addressing new quality applications with the disk laser.
6. 《激光制造商情》:今年3月,通快在上海首次推出了TruDisk12002的萬瓦級(jí)碟片激光系統(tǒng),這款產(chǎn)品性能和優(yōu)點(diǎn)是什么?(the performance and advantages of TruDisk12002)
Andreas: This disk laser generation we introduce this year, we called it “6C”, meaning it has 6 kilowatt output per laser disk. In this new product TruDisk12002, we combine two 6 kilowatt cavities for 12 kilowatt laser. Its wavelength is 1030nm, and the beam quality is 8 mm•mrad.
The application it could do is welding, deep penetration welding as well as cladding application. Most of the advantages are the very high process stability, and the power stability of laser beam. Competitors often talk about the stability ±2% over one working day, but we talking about ±1% over the lifetime. That means much different.
7. 《激光制造商情》:最后,你是第一次參加亞洲激光論壇,你對(duì)這個(gè)活動(dòng)有何印象和評(píng)價(jià)? (some comments of Asia Laser Forum and the exhibition)
Andreas: This event is a combination of conference and exhibition. We have heard a lot of interesting presentations from high quality professors, leading companies and experts from laser community in China. The exhibition is very special, and for TRUMPF, one of the leading laser companies in China, it’s very important to show in here. So we will join this next year.
