Wuhan Raycus Fiber Laser Technologies Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Raycus”), which belongs to China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC), is developing the first 2 myriawatt fiber laser in China. If the development goes well, it will come out and be put into use in the first half of 2018.
In 2013, Raycus has successfully developed the first domestic 1 myriawatt fiber laser, becoming the second company to have mastered this core technology in the world after the one in the United States. This technology is an important milestone of China, marking that China's independent research and development capacity of fiber lasers has reached world-class level.
At present, the production capacity of Raycus has been ranked first in China and the third in the world. The products cover two main series: 10W-100W pulse fiber lasers and 50W-10000W co
ntinuous fiber lasers, which account for more than 40% share of the domestic market. The products are exported to more than 20 countries and regions such as America, Europe, Korea and Japan.
