CRAWLEY, UK January 16. 2017 – Powerlase Photonics Limited is pleased to announce the launch of a new product available for immediate order, the Integrated Lase Enclosure (ILE) for the Rigel series of high power lasers. The ILE contains an integrated water to water heat exchanger system and humidity control unit to allow operation in ambient environments up to +40°C and 90% non-condensing relative humidity. The ILE is a sealed system, specifically engineered for maintenance free operation in a high particulate or harsh environment.
Rigel ILE are available in 800W, 1.2kW and 1.6kW power levels, with class leading 250 mJ pulse energy for kW nanosecond pulsed lasers. Rigel lasers are used for AlSi coating removal on hot formed tailored blanks for laser welding in automotive applications, as well as laser paint, rust, and contamination removal in a variety of applications spaces. Powerlase Photonics presents fast process time and process flexibility with high uptime for maximum value and low total cost of ownership. The optional ablation monitoring Inline Ablation Sensor (ILAS) allows the user to observe and control ablation in real time, to enhance process stability.
