Jingfang Optotelectronics (“WLOPT”), based in Suzhou, China, in partnership with Beauchamp Beer BV, has acquired Anteryon, the Dutch optical precision components and assembly producer. Terms of the deal were not revealed.


Anteryon, based in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, was spun off from electronics giant Philips in 2006 and today delivers “customer-specific optical components and related services for business and consumer markets,” Jingfang explained.


Its core technology is a proprietary replication technique to produce high-end hybrid optical lenses, combined with precise glass and surface structuring, optical and mechanical coatings and opto-mechanical and -electronic assemblies including hyperspectral imaging. Anteryon also owns the associated IP.


Diverse Applications

Industrial applications of the Dutch group’s technologies range from semiconductor, industrial sensing/scanning, construction, agriculture, medical security and consumer applications, including AR/VR, IOT, imaging and automotive.
